“And Dance Like No One is Watching” is my first large scale mobile. I love Henri Matisse’s simplified figures, which were the inspiration for this piece. Each figure was cut from aluminum and then painted black. These figures span about 8 feet across my living room. As they move they create shadows on my white walls.
